Brrrrrr! It was so cold and gloomy this morning that I had to bake a batch of cookies to warm up the house. I had gotten a bottle chocolate extract some time back in anticipation of making Isa’s Mexican Hot Chocolate Snickerdoodles and today was just the day for it to get used. The went together so quickly and baked up all crinkly and spicy and full of chocolatey deliciousness that I had to take pictures. The cayenne pepper gives just the right kick to these cookies.
