Run and Refresh

So I had to do a three-mile run today and it got later and later before I finally decided I better hit the road before it got dark and I ended up running on the treadmill at the gym, and really what’s three miles.  I love this time of year when it’s still cool in the evenings and I can run in the neighborhoods around my house.  I’m a bit of a yard voyeur and check out what people have done to their properties to see it if would work for mine.  Truth be told I like to see if I can peek inside the houses too, especially if they have the same floor plan as my house.  Okay, not entirely kosher but it’s not like I’m sneaking around peering into these homes, just a glance as I dash by.  If you know my running you know I’m not dashing anywhere, but anyway, I’m just sayin’.  So I did my 3 miles which turned into 3 and a quarter according to Map My Walk, and by the time I got home I wasn’t feeling like eating anything heavy or hot, so I broke into a box of Jamba Juice Bars that I picked up at the market today.  I’ve been into the flavor of lemon and these were no exception, I got the Strawberry Lemonade Swirl bars and they were exceptional.  Just right for a post run snack.  Some of these bars are made with yogurt but these have no dairy, yet still tasted smooth and creamy.  I see more of these in my future (I’ll have to ask my 8 Ball about that), they have a Peach Blackberry Smash that sounds interesting too!

Oh and bonus…only 70 calories!
