When I’m going out of town I like to use up what’s in my fridge and try not to get a bunch of new food. It’s getting down to slim pickin’s and some of my produce looks a little tired. I made a simple yet flavorful meal of Garden Burgers, new potatoes roasted with leftover pesto, steamed zucchini, and strawberries for dessert. I think I may have to pick up a few items because I’m down to a slightly depleted head of lettuce, a 1/4 jar of peanut butter and a sip or two of soy milk. I also have an unopened bottle of orange juice that I’m not sure I want to crack into. I might just leave it with T. when I leave on Sunday. I’ve still done no research on things I want to do in NY, sis said walking around and people watching is almost enough. That and Lulu’s Sweet Apothecary may just do it for me, I’m not so sure about D. though.
